Who doesn’t love a wholesome but decadent dessert? These baked pears are so smooth and juicy, and paired with the yoghurt, it makes for a nourishing and creamy deal with that’s excellent served scorching to heat your self up throughout cooler months. If it’s summer time in your nook of the globe, merely serve it chilled – it’s simply as scrumptious.
- 6 pears, halved, I used Bosc pears
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract, elective
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 200g (7oz) Greek yoghurt, or coconut yoghurt for dairy-free
Preheat the oven to 180°C or 350°F.
Place the pears in a shallow baking dish or ramekin.
Drizzle the maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract excessive of the pears. Mud with the cinnamon.
Bake within the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or till golden and caramelised.
Serve with Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt.
Any leftovers will be stored in an hermetic container within the fridge for as much as 4 days.
